The DTS-50 is particularly suited for dynamic loading where shock and vibration with torsional demands is required. Having a very low 50mm profile, this makes it an excellent choice for vehicle mounted pumps and generator carriers, where space is restricted. This is an extreme load/duty full extension telescopic slide (140–380Kg/pair) suitable for a wide range of applications. At 550mm 1 pair has a full extension load capacity of 370Kg.
Constructed from cold drawn steel sections, with machined ball tracks for accuracy, it has excellent levels of shock and vibration resistance. Accordingly, the product is well suited to supporting generators and heavy machine guards, even with an over extension of 120%. Due to the extreme strength of the mobile 'I' beam, this slide is robust to applied loads when in the extended position making it an excellent choice for dynamic applications. Unlike many other slides manufactured from rolled steel 'C' sections. There are no plastic parts in the manufacture of this range, making it ideal for high temperature use.
The DTS-50 slide may also be used in the minor axis (flat) but the load capacity will be reduced to approximately 60% (depending on slide length) with an increase in deflection. A single DTS-50 weighs 9.05kg per metre.
The slides are manufactured from cold drawn steel C45E+C in accordance with EN 10277. Standard ball cages are manufactured from zinc plated sheet metal and the ball bearings are carbon steel C85 G100 in accordance with DIN 5401. The DTS-50 is now available in steel, stainless steel and aluminium interchangeable formats.
The DTSB version of this slide is fitted for an extension front and rear, equal to the closed length. Please ask our engineers for further information.
